Ryan was called to the bar in Ontario in 2010. He began his career practicing corporate tax and tax litigation at a Bay Street law firm. From there, he briefly practiced family law before transitioning into insurance defence and personal injury. In his litigation career, Ryan has resolved hundreds of matters and developed a reputation for resolving the toughest disputes in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Ryan graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a B.A. Hons (with Distinction) in History. He then attended the University of Windsor Ontario where he obtained his LLB. In 2017, Ryan obtained his Certificate in Dispute Resolution from York University. He is a also a Qualified Mediator (Q.Med) with the ADR Institute of Canada.

In his spare time, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, overspending on coffee and walking his Golden Retriever, Poppy.

Isabell Grzesiowski - family law mediator

Isabell has dedicated her professional career to family law, having practised exclusively in this area since her call to the Ontario Bar in 2009. Isabell studied International Relations and Political Science at Trinity College at the University of Toronto.  Isabell attended law school at the University of Windsor, where she focused her studies on family law and alternative dispute resolution.  Isabell discovered her interest in family law as a student working at the Ontario Court of Justice where she gained invaluable mentoring and first-hand experience of the family law justice system.  

Following graduation from law school, Isabell articled at a national full-service law firm where she gained training and exposure to many areas of law including family law.  As an associate, Isabell has worked alongside highly distinguished family lawyers in a boutique family law setting. Isabell’s family law practice includes litigation and alternative dispute resolution.

Isabell’s clients benefit from her practical approach to resolving family law disputes in a calm and sensitive manner. In addition to her family law practice at Goodman Halioua LLP, Isabell provides mediation services in all aspects of family law.  

Isabell is the former Secretary of the Ontario Bar Association’s Executive Family Law Committee and Editor and contributor to Matrimonial Affairs Magazine. Isabell has co-authored papers for the Ontario Bar Association and has presented at Continuing Professional Development events at the Ontario Bar Association.

Isabell is fluent in Polish and continues her engagement with her alma mater, Trinity College at the University of Toronto where she is a member of the Corporation of Trinity College.  After hours, Isabell is mostly preoccupied with her young family but loves to cook and decorate.
